ProMedical is pleased to announce that it is now operating as a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) registered body.
The Criminal Records Bureau provides access to information across England and Wales about criminal convictions and other police records to help employers make an informed decision when recruiting staff. The information provided by the CRB is known as a disclosure.
All CRB registered employers must observe the Disclosure Code of Practice, which is designed to ensure that any information released will be used fairly, and handled and stored appropriately. Amongst the list of requirements, employers must treat all applicants fairly and without discrimination as well as ensuring that criminal record information is only supplied for the purpose of a recruitment (or other relevant) decision.
The move provides organisations with further proof that ProMedical is committed to exceptionally high standards in all of its business practices and processes. This will also save clients valuable time and resources, which is especially key for the healthcare industry. ProMedical is also dedicated to maintaining the greatest levels of care to candidates, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment to secure their ideal role.
Altin Biba, Managing Director of ProMedical, commented:
“At ProMedical, we are committed to ensuring we retain a high standard of candidates for our prospective employers and taking care to ensure our jobseekers receive the best possible service. Becoming a CRB registered body will help us to do exactly that.”
