PROMEDICAL SPONSORS LONDON SKOLARS FOR 2012
ProMedical is delighted to announce a new 2012 sponsorship agreement with London Skolars. ProMedical will sponsor the club’s 1st team squad’s training kit.
London Skolars were founded during the Centenary Season of the Rugby Football League in 1995. Initially created for post-university graduates inLondon, the club quickly became one open to all and reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of Rugby League in the English capital. The club became one of the founding members of the Southern Conference in 1997, the forerunner to the RFL Summer Conference, winning the competition during its inaugural season.
In 2002, the club’s application to join the National Leagues the following year was accepted, the first club in 80 years to make the jump from the amateur ranks to the professional leagues. The first team plays in The Co-operative Championship Division 1.
On signing the agreement Altin Biba, Managing Director of ProMedical, commented: “ProMedical is thrilled to be sponsoring a young and vibrant rugby league club of such high status and aspirations. London Skolars General Howard Kramer was equally enthusiastic about the club’s new partner: “I have been dealing with ProMedical for the past two seasons, during which time they been extremely efficient in providing the club with medical staff for matches from time to time. They have always taken a keen interest in the club’s growth and this is an ideal opportunity for us to forge our links with them and grow the partnership This coming season will see all Skolars training kit branded with the ProMedical logo.”
