{"id":4723,"date":"2017-09-09T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-09T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.promedical.co.uk\/nhs\/"},"modified":"2020-12-21T07:25:55","modified_gmt":"2020-12-21T07:25:55","slug":"nhs-rates-of-pay-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.promedical.co.uk\/general-healthcare\/nhs-rates-of-pay-published\/","title":{"rendered":"NHS Rates of Pay Published"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre, the following statistics gives us an insight into the pay conditions affecting NHS staff.<\/p>\n<p>Basic Pay for all doctors of all grades in December 2016:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 10% were paid &pound;86,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>At least 9% were paid &pound;96,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>At least 7% were paid &pound;91,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>At least 4% were paid &pound;31,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>At least 3% were paid &pound;101,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>At least 2% were paid &pound;81,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>At least 2% were paid &pound;46,000 per annum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;The distribution has several distinct peaks between &pound;28,000 and &pound;48,000 and then four distinct peaks between &pound;86,000 and &pound;103,000.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.promedical.co.uk\/images\/default-source\/banner\/nhs-rates-of-pay-768x499baa733f354cc44b6b7e394ab5ed4f519.png?sfvrsn=f7dfbdd1_1\" style=\"display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;\" sf-custom-thumbnail=\"true\" width=\"500\" sf-constrain-proportions=\"true\" sf-size=\"100\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For non-medical staff groups the picture is markedly different:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The largest group, almost 8%, were paid &pound;19,000 per annum<\/li>\n<li>Almost 7% were paid &pound;31,000<\/li>\n<li>Again, almost 7% were paid &pound;25,000<\/li>\n<li>At least 4% were paid &pound;37,000<\/li>\n<li>Just over 3% were paid &pound;43,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.promedical.co.uk\/images\/default-source\/banner\/nhs-rate-of-pay-non-med-768x491.png?sfvrsn=4111311f_1\" sf-custom-thumbnail=\"true\" width=\"500\" style=\"display:block;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;\" sf-constrain-proportions=\"true\" sf-size=\"100\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Statistics from the Health and Social Care Information Centre give us an insight into the pay conditions for NHS staff.
