Please rest assured: we are taking the necessary steps to protect ourselves and those we encounter.<\/p>\n<p>What ProMedical will be doing to support our staff, candidate and clients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will no longer conduct face to face interviews for the next few weeks and will instead use WhatsApp and Video calling tools more.<\/li>\n<li>We have the capabilities to deploy all our services remotely, with no service interruption. In the event we must self-isolate, we can continue supporting you, our clients and our healthcare professionals.<\/li>\n<li>We are a multi-site, multi-national organisation. This allows us to provide our services and avoid the risk of a single point of failure. Our teams will continue to work our usual business hours and access to our services will not be affected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business services that will remain unaffected:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Payroll will not be affected;<\/li>\n<li>Our phone lines will still operate between 7 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.<\/li>\n<li>All telephone numbers will remain the same and a divert will be in operation;<\/li>\n<li>Our business hours will remain unchanged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What are the main symptoms of COVID-19?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following symptoms may develop in the 14 days after exposure to someone who has COVID-19 infection:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cough<\/li>\n<li>Difficulty in breathing<\/li>\n<li>Fever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are experiencing any or all of these symptoms, follow the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/111.nhs.uk\/covid-19\">link<\/a>\u00a0to take the online assessment or contact 111 if you are concerned.<\/p>\n<p>Also, if any of our candidates have recently\u00a0travelled back to the UK from abroad, please check out the advice page, containing a list of countries with a high risk of COVID-19. (the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/covid-19-specified-countries-and-areas\/covid-19-specified-countries-and-areas-with-implications-for-returning-travellers-or-visitors-arriving-in-the-uk\">full list is available here<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Recently travelled back from abroad to the UK\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/covid-19-specified-countries-and-areas\/covid-19-specified-countries-and-areas-with-implications-for-returning-travellers-or-visitors-arriving-in-the-uk\">click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>What can we do to stop the spread of COVID-19?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are two main routes by which people can spread COVID-19:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Infection can be spread to people who are nearby (within 2 metres) or possibly could be inhaled into the lungs.<\/li>\n<li>It is also possible that someone may become infected by touching a surface, object or the hand of an infected person that has been contaminated with respiratory secretions and then touching their own mouth, nose, or eyes (such as touching a doorknob or shaking hands then touching own face)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Public Health England (PHE) recommends that the following precautions are taken to help prevent people from catching and spreading COVID-19:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. See\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/campaignresources.phe.gov.uk\/resources\/campaigns\/101\/resources\/5016\">Catch it, Bin it, Kill it<\/a><\/li>\n<li>put used tissues in the bin straight away<\/li>\n<li>wash your hands with soap and water often \u2013 use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. See\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/assets.publishing.service.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/attachment_data\/file\/866065\/Handwashing_techniques.pdf\">handwashing guidance<\/a><\/li>\n<li>try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell<\/li>\n<li>clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces<\/li>\n<li>do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are worried about symptoms, please call NHS 111.
