As part of ProMedical’s ongoing commitment to fundraising for various health-related charities we recently ran our very own Cupcake Day in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.
June 14th was a day to remember for the team as we got out our aprons, rolled up our sleeves and polished our mixing bowls before launching into a cupcake frenzy!
Of course the whole point of Cupcake Day, which happens every year on June 14th, is to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society by selling cupcakes. So, it doesn’t matter whether you bake them yourself or buy a tray of ready made cakes from your local bakery. You can take part too by organising your own Cupcake Day and sending proceeds from your sales to Alzheimer’s Society.
It’s not necessarily the baking that is important: it’s the money raised, as well as having fun with every crumb!
Needless to say a lot of cake was scoffed which left the team on a sugar-high for the rest of the day – if not the week!
Charity and giving to organisations that do their best for others less fortunate is important to ProMedical. With the pressures facing the NHS in the UK it is often the charities that make a crucial difference to those suffering with their conditions.
ProMedical is proud to be a partner to the Alzheimer’s Society by joining in on Cupcake Day!
