With Chancellor Philip Hammond’s budget having been delivered last week it has by now been digested and pored over at length.

Many were pleasantly surprised by the extra funds allowed by the budget for the NHS and admitted that they were expecting much less in the way of concessions. However, many more were left feeling disappointed and demoralised by the huge gap between what is needed by the NHS to keep offering a quality service and what has been promised by the chancellor.

With that in mind we thought we’d take a look at the finer points of the budget that has been set out.
