Whistleblowing Policy

Our commitment

ProMedical Personnel Ltd (“ProMedical”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to the highest standards of openness, integrity, and accountability. 

We encourage employees, workers, contractors, and partners to report any concerns about wrongdoing in our business or supply chain without fear of retaliation. 

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to: 

  • Provide a safe and confidential process for raising concerns. 
  • Ensure concerns are taken seriously and investigated fairly. 
  • Protect whistleblowers from victimisation, discrimination, or disadvantage. 

Scope

This policy applies to concerns relating to: 

  • Criminal offences. 
  • Breaches of legal or regulatory obligations. 
  • Health and safety risks. 
  • Environmental damage. 
  • Miscarriages of justice. 
  • Modern slavery, bribery, or corruption. 
  • Concealment of any of the above. 

It applies to all employees, agency workers, contractors, suppliers, and any other individual connected with our business. 

How to raise a concern

Concerns should be raised as soon as possible, either verbally or in writing, to: 

If you feel unable to raise the concern internally, you may contact an appropriate external body (see section 6).  

Investigation process

When a concern is raised: 

  1. It will be acknowledged within 24 hours. 
  2. An initial assessment will determine the next steps. 
  3. If a formal investigation is required, it will be conducted impartially and confidentially. 
  4. Findings and any necessary actions will be shared with the whistleblower where appropriate.

Protection for whistleblowers

Under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998, whistleblowers are legally protected from dismissal or detriment if their disclosure is made in good faith and in the public interest. 

We will take disciplinary action against anyone who victimises or retaliates against a whistleblower. 

Confidentiality

We will make every effort to keep a whistleblower’s identity confidential unless disclosure is required by law. 

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or from time to time if required by legislative or organisational changes.
