Our commitment
ProMedical Personnel Ltd (“ProMedical”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to operating as a responsible, ethical business that contributes positively to our communities, the environment, and society as a whole.
We integrate our CSR commitments into every aspect of our operations, from how we treat our people, to the environmental impact of our work, to the way we engage with our communities.
Scope
This statement applies to all ProMedical employees, contractors, and partners, and covers our activities in the NHS, independent healthcare, government, and community sectors.

People and workplace culture
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all employment and service delivery.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment in line with our Health & Safety Policy.
- Provide professional development opportunities and support the wellbeing of our people.
- Operate a fair, transparent recruitment process that upholds industry best practice and ethical labour standards.
Social value and community engagement
- Contribute annually to the Brentwood Business Improvement District (BID), supporting local economic development.
- Sponsor and support local sports clubs, community events, and charitable initiatives.
- Provide staff with one paid volunteering day per year to support causes of their choice.
- Partner with organisations that enhance social mobility and access to employment.
Environmental sustainability
- Follow our Environmental & Sustainability Policy, including our Carbon Reduction Plan.
- Reduce waste through recycling, paperless processes, and responsible procurement.
- Support the NHS Net Zero targets by minimising emissions from travel, energy use, and supply chain activities.
Ethical governance and compliance
- Adhere to the REC Code of Professional Practice and ethical recruitment principles.
- Operate under our Modern Slavery Act Policy to prevent exploitation and human trafficking.
- Maintain transparency in all dealings, supported by our Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy.
Measurement and accountability
We measure our CSR performance through:
- Annual review of environmental targets and carbon emissions.
- Tracking community contributions and volunteer participation.
- Reviewing diversity and inclusion metrics.
- Feedback from clients, candidates, and community partners.
Continuous improvement
We will:
- Seek opportunities to increase our positive social and environmental impact.
- Regularly review and update this statement in line with best practice and stakeholder feedback.

Review
This policy is subject to an annual review to ensure its ongoing relevance and compliance with current legislation, regulatory requirements, and organisational standards. Interim reviews may be undertaken if significant legislative, regulatory, or operational changes occur.
