Our commitment

Scope
This policy applies to:

- All candidates, clients, and service users.
- All stages of recruitment, employment, training, and promotion.
It covers all protected characteristics as defined in the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities
Management:
- Lead by example and ensure EDI principles are embedded in all practices.
- Provide training and resources to support EDI awareness and compliance.
All staff:
- Treat colleagues, clients, and candidates with respect.
- Challenge and report discriminatory behaviour or language.
Recruitment and employment
- We ensure recruitment is based solely on skills, qualifications, and suitability for the role.
- Job adverts are written inclusively and placed to reach diverse audiences.
- We make reasonable adjustments to accommodate disabilities in recruitment and employment.
Monitoring and improvement
We:
- Collect and analyse diversity data to identify underrepresentation.
- Review recruitment and employment practices annually.
- Use feedback to inform continuous improvement in our EDI approach.

This policy is subject to an annual review to ensure its ongoing relevance and compliance with current legislation, regulatory requirements, and organisational standards. Interim reviews may be undertaken if significant legislative, regulatory, or operational changes occur.
