Case study:Medico-legal support for a complex clinical negligence programme
A public-sector organisation required independent medico-legal opinion to support a large-scale, high-impact review programme concerning long-standing clinical failings. Prior to ProMedical’s involvement, progress had been limited due to the scarcity of specialist experts and the complexity of the cases under review.
Initially engaged to support a small number of highly specialised cases, including haematology, hepatology and infectious diseases, it quickly became clear that delivery capacity had been significantly underestimated.
